Frequently asked questions
Which Morocco desert area should I choose?
Merzouga and Erg Chebbi are suited to travellers looking for large sand dunes. Agafay is a rocky desert close to Marrakech, while Zagora is often chosen for shorter multi-day routes from Marrakech.
Can I combine a camel ride with sunset or sunrise?
Yes. Many desert experiences are timed around sunset or sunrise, and overnight camp itineraries often make it possible to experience both. Exact inclusions depend on the selected tour.
