Your private driver will collect you from your Fes riad at 8:00 AM. We immediately begin our ascent into the Middle Atlas Mountains. Our first stop is Ifrane, a charming alpine town often referred to as the "Switzerland of Morocco" due to its distinct European architecture. We then enter the dense Cedar Forests of Azrou, where we will stop to observe and photograph the wild Barbary macaque monkeys.
After a lunch break in the apple capital of Midelt, the landscape dramatically changes. We descend into the spectacular Ziz Valley, a massive gorge filled with millions of date palms. By late afternoon, we arrive at the edge of the Sahara in Merzouga. Trade your luxury vehicle for a camel caravan and ride deep into the golden dunes of Erg Chebbi for sunset. You will arrive at our exclusive desert camp for a traditional feast, Berber drumming, and a night in a luxury en-suite tent under the stars.
