Your Journey
Agadir → Taroudant → Saffron Capital → Ouarzazate
Your private driver will pick you up from your Agadir hotel. We begin our journey driving east to Taroudant, known as "Little Marrakech" for its spectacular, intact ochre city walls. Continuing into the Anti-Atlas mountains, we stop in Taliouine, the heart of Morocco's saffron production, where you can visit a local cooperative. In the late afternoon, we arrive in the cinematic city of Ouarzazate, known as the "Hollywood of Africa," to relax and enjoy dinner at your riad.

Ouarzazate → Rose Valley → Todra Gorges → Merzouga
After breakfast, we travel along the "Route of a Thousand Kasbahs," passing through the fragrant Valley of the Roses. We stop to hike through the sheer, 300-meter-high limestone cliffs of the [Todra River] gorges. As we continue eastward, the landscape transforms into arid pre-Sahara until the golden dunes of [Erg Chebbi] rise near Merzouga. You will check into a beautiful desert lodge at the edge of the dunes to rest before your deep desert adventure tomorrow.

Merzouga → The Draa Valley Palm Groves → Agdz
Wake up early to witness a breathtaking Saharan sunrise over the dunes. After breakfast at the camp, we depart the desert and travel through the volcanic landscapes of the Anti-Atlas Mountains. We eventually reach the magnificent Draa Valley, a 100-kilometer ribbon of millions of date palms dotted with ancient, crumbling kasbahs that once guarded the trans-Saharan trade routes. We spend the night in a traditional kasbah-style riad in the tranquil oasis town of Agdz.

Agdz → Taznakht → Return to Agadir
We depart Agdz, continuing our journey west through striking, off-the-beaten-path landscapes. As we descend from the mountains, the landscape softens into rolling argan groves. We arrive back in Agadir in the late afternoon, where your driver will drop you off at your hotel or the airport.
