Tangier Arrival → The Blue Pearl of Chefchaouen
Your private driver will welcome you at the Tangier ferry port, airport, or your hotel. We begin our journey by driving south into the lush green peaks of the Rif Mountains. By late morning, we arrive in Chefchaouen, the famously blue-washed city. After checking into your luxury riad, spend the afternoon wandering the peaceful, indigo-hued alleys, browsing local artisan shops, and watching the sunset from the Spanish Mosque overlooking the valley.

Chefchaouen → Volubilis → The Imperial City of Fes
After a relaxed breakfast, we depart the Blue City and travel toward the spiritual capital, Fes. Along the way, we stop to explore the remarkably preserved Roman ruins of Volubilis, a UNESCO World Heritage site featuring stunning ancient mosaics. We continue through the rolling hills of the north, arriving in Fes by late afternoon. Enjoy your first evening in the world's largest medieval medina with dinner at your luxury riad.

Fes → Middle Atlas → Sahara Desert Dunes
Today is an epic travel day. We leave the imperial city and ascend into the Middle Atlas Mountains, stopping in the alpine town of Ifrane and the ancient Cedar Forests. As we descend, the landscape turns arid, opening up into the vast Ziz Valley palm groves. By late afternoon, we reach the edge of the Erg Chebbi dunes in Merzouga. Here, you will mount your camel and trek into the golden dunes as the sun sets, arriving at your luxury desert camp for a night of Saharan music and stargazing.

Merzouga → Todra Gorges → Dades Valley
Wake up early for a spectacular Saharan sunrise over the dunes. After breakfast, we travel west toward the "Grand Canyon of Morocco"—the Todra Gorges. You will have time to walk through the massive limestone cliffs that tower 300 meters high. In the afternoon, we continue into the Dades Valley, famous for its unique rock formations and the "Route of a Thousand Kasbahs." Spend the night in a luxury riad nestled in the heart of the canyon.

Our journey continues through the Valley of the Roses and the "Hollywood of Africa," Ouarzazate. Finally, we begin our dramatic ascent over the High Atlas Mountains via the Tizi n'Tichka pass, descending into the vibrant, red-walled city of Marrakech. Check into your luxury riad in the heart of the medina and enjoy your first evening at the Jemaa el-Fnaa square.

Marrakech Exploration & Departure
